Our First Christmas!

Our first Christmas as a married couple was pretty awesome.  We took on the big task of having Christmas at our house for the first time. I would have to say it was a success. We had Momma Lisa and Mark, Momma and Mike, Trisha and Alex for the beginning of the day, eating snacks, pies and opening up presents. Later on in the day Uncle Rob, Aunt Jen, Matthew and Joshua joined us for more presents! For dinner, the rest of Eric's family on his mom's side joined us for a delicious meal consisting of London broil, pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, homemade macaroni and cheese, and stuffing.

I got really spoiled this year. I got an awesome Pea Coat, an iPod, a new radio for my car, a photo printer, AND.... and iMAC with all the programs I need for video purposes!!!! I don't deserve all this stuff.... but THANKS!!!!

We were happy to be with family on Christmas and to celebrate the day of Jesus' birth, so he could come and be our savior!

Here are some pics...

We also took a little trip to Tallahassee before we went to TN, and saw this really cool house in Tally that Marty and Tara told us about. The house's Christmas lights blink to the music....

Check it out!

Our Nashville Trip

Our trip to Nashville, TN was awesome! First we got to stay in a nice hotel for FREE, thanks to Eric's Dad! The trip was short but we were able to cram everything in. Our first day out there we saw the capital building, went to the old Grand ole Opry house- Ryman Auditorium, went to the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, ate at a BBQ place that claimed to have the friendliest service but that was a lie, went to the ICE! sculpture "We froze Charlie Brown's Christmas" exhibit, ate at the Wild Horse Saloon, and went a watched a band play some country music at a bar. Fun times, mostly all by foot.

The next day we traveled around Nashville and checked out the area to see if it is a place we would like to live in later down the road when Eric finishes grad school. We found an OLIVE GARDEN near a cute little neighborhood. Olive Garden is now an essential part to any place we decide to move to in the future. There isn't one in St. Augustine, which is tragic! lol

Here are a few pics of Nashville....

So... I did a lot of walking in Nashville, and my pinky toe always hurts when I wear any form of closed toe shoe. If you have a few minutes of your life to TOTALLY WASTE and possible get a laugh, then watch this....

Alex's First visit: November 2009

Alex stayed with us for 5 days at our house for the first time. It was fun, but he was a hand full. Little kids do some funny stuff though. We took him to CiCi's pizza, the beach where he ran from the water, the park a few times, on a horse carousel, stores, Chick-fil-a, and played at the house.

Here is a video of him and Eric playing...

Here are a few photos of the visit...

Video From After the Proposal

So, I know this video is about a year old, but I wanted to share it with you all anyways.. I think you might get a laugh or two out of it!
